SASKATOON – Robin Clarke of Ottawa saved the
day for Canada on Thursday at the Saskatoon Boast men's professional squash
tournament as he advanced to the quarterfinals with a victory over Chris
Truswell of England.
Clarke, seeded second, won the match handily
11-6, 11-5, 11-7 in 39 minutes and faces Arturo Salazar of Mexico in the final
eight.
Canadian players were involved in five of the
other seven matches and lost them all.
